研究概要

光化学現象は、分子自身やその集合化にかかわる情報が鋭敏に反映される。本研究では一連のランタニドを用いた希土類を含む錯体の発光性錯体を用い、分子性薄膜の水面から固体基板上への転写の際の相転移[LBfilm]やゲル[Hydrogel]などいわゆる物質の三態に分類することが難しい系の界面を利用し、界面錯体のソフトクリスタルの配向とその光物性に着目している。希土類の発光は、配位子の励起状態を経由して促進されるため、一般的な有機分子の光吸収・光エネルギー緩和(発光)と仕組みが異なる。そのため「偏光発光」や「発光の長寿命化」の制御には原理が確立されていない部分が多い。そこで、本課題では、希土類錯体を用い、ソフトクリスタルの界面制御による新たな光物性の開拓を目的とし研究を推進する。
